Thank you to everyone who helped support me in this trip financially and through prayers. The trip was a success and no one got sick or hurt. All of our expectations were met and surpassed. I am still trying to process and collect my thoughts on everything that was witnessed. I took 6,277 images while I was in Brazil. There are so many great pictures and even more memories that I can’t wait to share with everyone.
Our standard day on the boat consisted of breakfast with everyone on the boat at 7am, followed by our daily devotions. We would let people on the boat around 9am to be checked out by the medical team, while the evangelic and VBS teams went into the villages to spread the Word of God.
We would go to the schools and teach the kids songs, and give them a small sermon. We would also play soccer with the kids and visit each house and talk with the parents.
Around noon, we would head back to the boat and break for lunch. Around 2;30pm we would open the boat for more patients and head back into the village for more soccer and evangelism. After dinner on the boat, we would go to church within the village. We would take turns giving the message at each village and even giving our testimonies.
This team was truly assembled by God. We all complimented each other and never had any hiccups. We all hit the ground running as if we had known each other for years. We are truly a family bonded together over this experience. – Thank you again to everyone for your prayers! It’s amazing what can happen when we let the Holy Spirit into our hearts and follow God’s command. I am excited to share more pictures and stories with everyone in the days to come. Thank you.
